memories

this is a picture i drew yesterday, it evolved a lot, it started off as part of a face and random drawings but i kept working on it. it shows a girl standing far up on the beach with the wind blowing in her hair, with the ocean in the background. the sun is setting and the birds are flying in the distance. a dolphin is also jumping through the water. you can see footprints in the sand and a rock ridge behind her.
what do you think she is thinking about....

take a breath

of the sweet, calm air.
take a step through the freshly cut grass.
feel the gentle breeze passing by you, bringing the scents of nature.
take a breath and let every worry disappear and bring you a sense of hope.
and stare in aw at the beauty thats around you.
the colors blend into one
telling a story as they wash together
bringing us a look at a world we long for
one with no worries, only dreams.
step into the dreams that lie on your heart
and know that nothing is impossible.
and everything is achievable.
if you take a breath,
and step in the sky,
fly high and soar knowing it will never end.

sing that sweet country song

i love the country so much. its so calming and everyone seems so happy when they're hanging around a farmhouse with family singing old stupid campfire songs. it seems like thats when people are the happiest. the song "chicken fried" is one of my favorite songs because it reminds me of that country feeling that you have your family and your friends and when your all together, thats all that matters, you don't need anything else.
times in your life may seem harsh and you may want to just give up, believe me, i know, been there and done that, don't want to go back. but honestly, things are never as bad as they seem. they could always be worse. there are people out there that have gone through so much more than any of us have, and some of us may be those people. but don't take things for granted.
look at the glass as half full instead of half empty. say the sun is almost risen not almost set.
what is life without a chance.
what is anything without hope, without strength, without peace, without any glimmer in the distance telling us everything will be okay.
don't take life for granted, you never know what you're gonna get or what you're gonna lose.
its a climb. but seriously its worth it when you reach the top.
you risk everything by risking nothing.

keep the faith

i took these pictures a few weeks ago, and they all connect to faith with me. yes even the water. i am a strong christian and love God with all my heart, so no rude comments please.
but remember always..keep the faith, know He is there all the time and nothing can take that away.

bad day

okay so i'm tired of having bad days.
ever had a guy who you thought was completely sweet and you felt like you could talk to him about anything...and then next thing you know, he turns and tells you to piss off? yeah got that today.
haa i didn't like him, but i thought it was nice to actually have some guy listen to you for once and understand. haa this guy told me that he hated that girls changed all the time, well he should turn around and realized he did what he said he didn't like people to do. he changed. within a day. but i guess you never really know somebody even after two years.
haha every single guy i've met has been like this.
seriously i don't think theres any guys out there who actually seem to care or actually have human feelings anymore.
i mean there are some but yeah not common, they're all taken. most of the time anyway.
but yeah.

also people don't know when to shut up, they seem to think they're so funny and everyone loves them because they find reasons to make other people feel small. not stupid but small. yeah it never works people. it makes a persons day bad sure, but get over yourselves and realize the people who are the biggest are the smallest in real life.
life isnt a fantasy. its a nightmare.
hahaaa

ok stupid rant of the day is over.

a very wise friend once said...

Don't let anyone let you down or tell you what to do, not even friends. Choose your own path, take it, and stay on it. Don't get distracted and veer off, you may get lost. But if you do, "someone" will help you to find it. Don't be discouraged or let down by something so little. And do not take the same crap more than once, twice for exceptions. Know who is for you and who is against you, and know which side you stand. Don't do anything you will regret. Challenge yourself and keep your head above the water.
When you cry, look up. Be bold and cautious. Think ahead. Learn from your mistakes and others. You may not be noticed the first time. Don't stop trying. Someone will notice you, the other will regret.
Don't stop living, laughing, and loving. Forgive and don't always forget. Remember.
And always....speak from the heart, and sometimes off the top of your head, as I have just done.

you are an amazing friend and one of the best friends i've ever had.
you told me this and i can tell you the same thing.

finding nemo

i love finding nemo. we're watching it in my lifeskills class because we're studying the character traits courage and bravery. hah its fun to watch in class cuz everybody mimics dory or whatever.
so anyway. i have drivers ed after school every day for a while annd my friend drives me home. one of my other friends was driven home today too and she pointed out how random i was. then somehow we got into a conversation about nemo. so one second its "just keep swimminnnng" the next its "no eating here tonight WOO, im on a diiet", then its "you are squishy so i shall name you squishy. you shall be my squishy. badd squishy."
then "aw you guys made me ink"
and "he touched the butt.."
so yeah. it was pretty funny. avery sat there looking at me like i was crazy, cuz i kind of am.
and kasey couldnt stop laughing and it was seriously epic. that movie makes us so add.
whats funny is we all sat near eachother when d.e. started and she moved our seats into alphabetical order. and we still sit next to eachother. fail for the teacher.
the ppl in my class, well some anyway, are hilarious.
we did some wierd signs test today and that was boring...but the comments were funny.
what kind of teacher makes you watch an hour long video on signs....and then doesnt expect people to talk.
idk.
anyyway. yeah. so never watch nemo with me. i mean you can, but i wouldnt advise iiiit(:

have you ever had a day where your patience and tolerance level is like a zero? hah i'm having one of those days. i don't know why but i am. there are a ton of moments in my life where i just want to shove somebody out of my way and say "leave me the hell alone" buuut i don't. thats probably a good thing. theres a certain level that people can only have so much of. i'm starting to get so sick and tired of the same things from the same people every day, its never anything different. the same crap all the time and seriously i'm about to punch somebody.
it's always why do you hang out with them, hah you failed that test, oh you didn't do this right, omg jaime did this, no way brad did that?!..haha know what i mean?
i guess thats what its like to be in high school with a ton of paranoid teenagers. thats life.
today wasn't my best day ever. started off fine, got up at 8 am to pass out fliers at a car show, went to starbucks, went to church, then the mall with my parents. got annoyed and pissed there, went to youth and that was about it. some kid stole my stuff, wouldn't give it back. my friend found out something that i really wish she hadn't because now she has something else to worry about. people thought it would be fun to mess with me today i guess.
ill warn you guys now, i go on a lot of rants so i apologize. it is a documentary of my life after all.
but oh well. sometimes you just have those days, you know?
i'm having too many of them.

haa. you know what i hate? fakes. you ever known somebody and thought you knew them but realized you don't? its pathetic sometimes that people are comfortable enough with themselves that they create an image thinking it will make things better. haha. don't you wish it worked like that. walk into a high school today and tell me this..what do you see?
well what i see is a lot of people unsure of themselves. people who really don't care about what they want but about what other people see them as. i don't know whether to get mad at them for that or to feel bad for them. i'm in no position to judge anybody, i've done that before, tried to make myself seem better or something that i knew i wasn't. wanna know what happened? blew up in my face.
haa. never good learning the hard way. try it and tell me how it goes.
i can probably guess now, not well.
next time you feel like you want to be better than you are, tell someone and then tell them one thing; tell them to hit you in the head before you do something you regret and lose everything you have. believe me, its not what you want. being yourself should be good enough, don't chance cuz you think its cool or whatever. i don't care if i sound like a lifeskills video. im dorky and i go on rants. deal with it. but trust me, don't do it. for people if you aren't good enough, then don't bother.

nah not really fun facts. so i'm kayleigh, i go by kale, depending on the person. im in high school, some people consider me your average teenage girl, others dont. i created this blog for anyone who wants to see what goes on in my life, what i do on my own time, anything like that. i didn't create it for any particular reason. random facts, consider them "fun" if you want, haha, umm; i love photography and anything having to do with art. music is basically my life, give me a beat and i'll go with it. i write songs but they're not very good and end up in the trash most of the time. haha. i love writing, and i've ben told i'm good at it too.
